ELC Lighting expands its product line at PLASA 2011

ELC Lighting is a leader in the design and manufacture of network data distribution and control equipment for entertainment and architectural lighting systems. At PLASA this year, they were exhibiting a full range of the latest DMX nodes, Ethernet switches and software designed specifically for distributing DMX over Ethernet using ArtNet, ACN and other protocols.

In addition to the popular focusHAND wireless riggers control, a wide range of accessories were on display including a DMX recorder and tester.

The well-kept secret this year was ELC Lighting’s expansion into the area of digital communications systems with their innovative GREENGO COMMUNICATION digital intercom/cuelight system, launched at PLASA and entered for an Innovation Award. Without the need for a complex and expensive matrix router, GreenGo adds wide-area digital voice communication, text messaging and cue lights to any Ethernet network, including high-traffic lighting systems, with no degradation to the network.
